Federation of Operative Dentistry was formed on 5th March 1982 by 5 most respected senior teachers in Operative Dentistry. The name F.O.D.I was changed to I.A.C.D.E (Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics) in year 2011. This day (5th March) is being celebrated since last year 2017.
